Learn About InsoFit's Personal Trainers
My name is Tracy Steen and I am fully certified as a Fitness Leader - Personal Training, and Fitness Leader -Weight Training with British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association.

This program requires its members to stay current with fitness trends, further training, etc. and has therefore implemented mandatory course credits throughout the year. I am also on the BCRPA Registered Personal Trainer Insurance Program. I hold current First Aid and CPR certification.

I have a MA in Counselling/Psychology and have worked for a number of years as a therapist. I really see this degree as being a benefit to the clients I train, for many reasons. We are with you, the client, for an hour on average three times a week. Now, there are times when its hard to talk, or breathe for that matter, but in between sets, I learn a lot about my client's life. Sometimes part of their struggle with exercise and body image issues are directly related to what's going on inside their heads. Now, we won't have a full on counselling session, but at the very least, I could lend some insight. At the most, I could refer you to a trusted friend and collegue for additional therapy.

My Philosophy.

There is no secret to fitness. It's a lifestyle not just an activity. To get fit and stay healthy requires personal effort, a personalized program, proper eating habits and a positive mind. What you believe about yourself is a vital part in achieving your fitness goals.

The Inside Out "personal assessment process" considers all the obstacles that may keep you from a living healthy life, including your state of mind. Sometimes the hardest weight to lose is the emotional and mental kind.

I will work with you to help you set and achieve your goals and make sure that you improve and maintain your fitness level in the long-term!

"What you believe about yourself is a vital part in achieving your fitness goals. Fitness is more than activity, it's a part of healthy living. There is a unique program for every person."       Tracy
